Pink Saturday 9/26/09

Happy Pink Saturday!

Thank you Beverly for hosting this fun event each week. Check out Beverly's blog How Sweet the Sound for more pinkie posts!

I am so late posting this morning! I guess life happens! :)

My pink this Saturday is a chintz rose teapot. It is made by Lefton and it is musical. Wind up the bottom and it plays "Memories".

This was my introduction to teapot collecting. It was a gift from my husbands dear Nana when she was still with us. Hubby and I were engaged at the time. Nan had the most beautiful teapot and teacup collection. I was always admiring it. I just loved every pretty flower and every curve of here large collection. She gave this one to me as a birthday gift. I will treasure it always.

Wishing you a beautiful pink Saturday. Head on over to Rebecca Rose Designs . She has a wonderful blog. I know you will love it... I do !

What an absolutely DELIGHTFUL teapot. I don't think I've ever encountered a musical one before. What fun!!! I missed Beverly's deadline so I'm not on the 'official list' but I did share PINK today for the third time.
Hugs and blessings,

Hi, Mary,
Your rose chintz teapot is so pretty, and I love the song it plays, too. Knowing it came from your husband's grandmother makes it even more special. Happy Pink Saturday and thank you for stopping by Bunny Cottage. Vicki
