Just wanted to share a few things I completed recently.

It's been so difficult to find time for painting or crafting lately.

I have been busy with all of the activities that come with school ending.

Happy Pink Saturday!

This Pink Saturday I am sharing this candy dispenser I recently gave a new rose cottage look to. Primed and painted pink, then adorned with my hand made clay roses and pale green leaves.

Faux Cookie Ornaments

Wanted to share these with you.

I just finished "baking" up a batch of faux cookies. Topped with my handmade clay roses and leaves. Ready for hanging on the Christmas tree or just about anywhere!

So yummy and sweet, and best of all.... ZERO calories :)

Pink Saturday & A Pink Giveaway

It's been quite a while since I posted for Pink Saturday. But after a completely unexpected hospital stay and recuperating and then the crazy start of school, I am finally back into the swing of things. I actually had some time to paint and list a few items (well...2) on ebay. I just finished painting one of my pink signs that I leave blank for personalization.

I decided that it would be a giveaway for this Pink Saturday. This is my first giveaway of what I hope to be many more :)

This is a wooden sign painted soft pink. Pink roses were hand painted on top and bottom to frame your choice of personalization (name, or short phrase). It hangs by a soft pink seam binding ribbon. The sign measures approximately 14" by 9". Picture of sign is below, click on it for a closer view.

This Is For The Birds!

I have a few birdhouse themed items coming up or already posted on my ebay .

Just wanted to share a few with you.

First, a decorative birdhouse ... a rose cottage for the birdies.

Also added my clay roses to the roof of this birdhouse.

Next, a wooden bird house tote or caddy. This is a great size.

Could store some magazines in this one, or towels in the guest bath.

Finally, a birdhouse peg shelf. All pretty in pink.

This says rose cottage chic all over it!

Pink Clay Roses

From time to time, I offer items adorned with my hand made pink clay roses on my ebay or my etsy. Mostly I am painting, but if time allows, I hand make pink roses petal by petal. I put them on such things as Christmas ornaments, Easter egg ornaments, picture frames, boxes and bird houses. I do take custom orders for items, especially the Christmas ornaments, as they take a bit of time to make.
It's amazing how these little pink roses transform an item into something so pretty and cottage sweet!

Anytime is Tea Time :)

This is a previously sold teapot "TeaTime" 12" by 12" sign I painted.

I will be listing a similar one on ebay in the next week or so.

This is perfect among a collection of tea pots or teacups,

or hanging in the rose cottage kitchen or sunny breakfast nook. I have a customer who ordered a similar sign from me

for her daughter's playroom. It hangs over her daughter's play table and chairs where she has her tea parties with her dolls and bears. I paint and sell similar but smaller wood tepots at Christmas time for hanging on the tree. I also have painted the smaller ornament sized teapots for a sweet customer who gave them as gifts at a garden teaparty she had for her girlfriends. I hand painted roses on one side, then I painted each guests name on the other side. She used them as a tag for seating and placed them on top of each persons place setting. At the end of the party, they had something to bring home to remember the day!
