Blue Monday

Happy Blue Monday! Thank you to Smiling Sally for hosting this fun event each week. Stop by her blog to see Sally and many others sharing blue's today.

For Blue Monday this week, I am posting a photo of the beautiful blue sky at the lake from this weekend. The clouds look so pretty against the blue sky.
The weather was perfect.

We (My hubby, our kids and I ) spent Sunday afternoon fishing here. It was so relaxing. We all caught (and released) our share of bass and pickerel.

Then to shore for a delicious picnic lunch.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend as well!

Have a beautiful Blue Monday!

Pink Saturday Tea Time

Happy Pink Saturday! Thank you sweet Beverly from How Sweet the Sound for hosting this fun weekly event.

For Pink Saturday I am sharing one of my teapots. I have a collection of teapots that have all been gifts to me for various occasions. Most are displayed in my dining room, but I do use each from time to time :)

This teapot with cup and saucer is pink and white with pretty light pink, dark pink and purple roses. It is Royal Albert's Rose Garland. I love the flower shaped handle on the lid.

Hope you have a lovely Pink Saturday! And if you are ever in my neighborhood, stop by for a cup of tea! :)

Native American Pow Wow

Went to the Sussex County Fairgrounds for the Native American Pow Wow
hosted by the Red Hawk Arts Council.

The weather was absolutely perfect...80 degrees, sunny and a nice breeze.

I wanted to share some pics of the beautiful, colorful dress of some of the dancers.

The music was amazing, the dancers were outstanding.

We had a really wonderful afternoon!

Hope you had a great weekend!

Happy Pink Saturday!

I cannot believe how fast this week has gone! It's Pink Saturday again! Thank you Beverly of How Sweet the Sound for hosting this fun event each week!

My daughter Meghan turned 9 this past Tuesday, so this Saturday we are having a few of her BFF's over for pizza, a craft, some girl fun and cake! They should have a blast! I will be decorating the house in the morning. She requested pink (of course) and brown for the color scheme.

I am sharing for pink Saturday the candy bars we wrapped in pink customized wrappers. These are thank you's to her girlfriends for celebrating her birthday with her.

The girls will be making pink and brown pictire frames with magnets on the back as a craft during the party.. I'll take a group picture, make copies and place them in the frames for each girl to take home with them.

I cannot believe my sweet angel is 9 already! They grow way too fast! I am so proud of her!

YHappy 9th Birthday Meghan! Love you to the moon and back!Y

And Happy Pink Saturday to my blogging friends!

My First Pink Saturday!

This is my first Pink Saturday. I am so excited to be a part of it! Thank you Beverly of How Sweet the Sound for including me in the fun.

For my very first Pink Saturday I am sharing my collection of pink buttons. I love to sew and have a large collection of pretty buttons. I also use them for crafts, mosaics and scrapbooking.

In this jar with my hand painted pink rose on top, tied with a pink seam binding ribbon and a metal pink heart charm, I keep just the pink buttons. Some are vintage and some are newer, but all so pretty!

Thanks for stopping by today and Happy Pink Saturday!

This Is For The Birds!

I have a few birdhouse themed items coming up or already posted on my ebay .

Just wanted to share a few with you.

*******
First, a decorative birdhouse ... a rose cottage for the birdies.

Also added my clay roses to the roof of this birdhouse.

Next, a wooden bird house tote or caddy. This is a great size.

Could store some magazines in this one, or towels in the guest bath.

Finally, a birdhouse peg shelf. All pretty in pink.

This says rose cottage chic all over it!

Hope you have a wonderful week and

thanks for stopping by!
